Day 32

Up early as usual. I'm getting used to cooking for Ruby and not eating. I had the usual vitamin drink, water and fruit juice today. I did some exercise, yoga and climbing around the adventure playground with Ruby. I'm glad I kept going and didn't stop at 30 days. I can feel myself becoming more empowered by this. I am physically fine and I feel good.
If you are doing a fast and you have learned how to do it properly, understand the process, have read good books on fasting and have become in tune with your own body, there is one piece of advice you must adhere to and that is 'don't listen to laymen's advice'. I have heard all sorts of rubbish about fasting, had negative comments, bad advice and encountered plain ignorance of the subject. Some of the uninformed comments I have had have included, 'You look bad', 'It's unsafe', 'You shouldn't go for that long', and  'I couldn't fast because I love food too much'. These are all very unhelpful comments and serve no useful purpose at all. I can't blame people for not knowing about the subject though.
It is perfectly safe to drink fruit juice, vitamins and water for  the amount of time it takes to lose excess body fat. You will not have any negative effects. People sometimes get fasting confused with starving. But starving is when one doesn't eat anything and has less than five percent body fat, this would be bad and all sorts of negative effects would start to be experienced.
Fasting is the best way to get in tune with the body, and I definitely feel that happening. I feel good, and I am looking healthy.
